A long list of Bloomington residents and relatives are noted visiting Logan and surrounding towns from last week through the weekend. Gatherings, hospital visits, travel to Boise and Ogden, and social events at homes and clubs are reported along with several family and fraternal activities.
Community notices list local residents improving or ill with names including Natalia Monson Myrtle Pugmire Wilhelmina Nelson Ellwood Cleveland Sam Winterbottom Gladys Cleveland Betty Lou Pugmire and Billy Pugmire. Events mention bridal shower ward conference water meeting and weekend visits among Windley Law and Peterson families.
Mrs Don Erickson and children and other locals visited Logan on Monday. J P Stock hosted several visitors including Howard Larsen and Joe, with news of their first grandchild. Bon Shirley injured Sunday night but suffered no serious injuries after x rays. Lloyd Stock and son Roy of Tucson visited and bought a new four door Chevrolet then traveled to Boise before Christmas. DUP Camp Fish Haven met at Ethyl Perkins home. C C Shirley stayed with the Charles Shirleys in Bountiful then joined a trip to St George. Teen Age party and dance drew many Fish Haven youths and Bishopric members. A trip to Montpeter to see Santa Claus was made by Fish Haven residents. Alma Perkins went to Ogden to buy four registered Guernsey cows.
The Board of Directors invites bids until December 15, 1949 for trucking an insulated van with cheese and other products to Pocatello Idaho and transporting plant supplies and merchandise from Pocatello to the plant at Paris.
