Funeral in Afton LDS chapel with services, interment in Freedom Cemetery beside husband John Hokansen. Surviving children include Viola Angelsey Richard Hokansen Cora Palmer Nene Hokansen Myrtle Horton and Stanley Hokansen, with siblings Augustus Peterson Alice Linford Nora Michaelson Charles Peterson Iva Bullock.

Aberdeen Plant Materials Center Opens in Idaho
J N Irvin of the Soil Conservation Service announced the Aberdeen Nursery has been renamed the Aberdeen Plant Materials Center. The center continues a 1989 cooperative program with the University of Idaho to improve forage and conservation plant materials. The 42 acre site, funded by Soil Conservation Districts from Idaho Nevada and Utah, hosts a seed house and seed cleaning plant. Brent Bergholm 17 is hospitalized at Bear Lake with a neck wound from an unloaded gun that accidentally discharged. He and brother James were handling a .22 pistol Sunday morning in their bedroom. the bullet struck his neck and lodged near the shoulder. Brent, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gus Bergholm of Liberty-Sharon, is a Fielding High School junior.

Funeral services for Frank Nye were held Wednesday November 28 at 1 PM in the Paria 1st Ward Chapel with Bishop Morris B Athay conducting.
