Eleanora Ricks Died in Spokane After Illness
Eleanora Shepherd Ricks 43 died at her Spokane home Monday at 10 30 am after a lingering illness. Born January 17 1895 in Montpelier she moved with her first husband to Brigham City Utah later married H G Ricks. She is survived by husband Oliver L Shepherd children Max Joyce Jerry and infant Bobbie Ricks plus several Bowen in laws and a half sister Edith Bowen Parker Montpelier. Funeral services were held yesterday in Spokane.

The Republican county central committee met at Montpelier on November 23 to consider appointments and patronage for Bear Lake county from the state. A five member committee was empowered to act for the central committee. The panel met again at Pariy and reviewed state appointments but deferred county appointments until December 8 when final action will be taken as all applications are on file.
