Timpanogos Cave Becomes National Monument in Utah
The Timpanogos Cave in American Fork Canyon Utah is revealed as a marvel after a 1920s discovery by miner and Alpine Club party. Forest Service hours opened it to the public with trails lights and facilities. Thousands visit yearly and a public service site now preserves it for all time with access from Salt Lake City.
