The wholesale trades department of the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce announces a five day Tristate good fellowship tour from September 10 to 15. About sixty business men will visit Coalville Evanston Fort Bridger Lyman Green River Rock Springs Granger Opal Montpelier Paris Soda Springs Diamondville Kemmerer Cokeville Alexander Grace Bancroft and Lava Hot Springs. Dr C C Moore is reappointed by the U S Veterans Bureau for the year 4994 serving this district after returning from the army.

Sugar beet factory eyed for Bear Lake country farmers

A Utah Idaho Sugar Co factory idle nearby may move to Bear Lake country if county farmers agree to plant beet acres. Ten acres per farmer could trigger a 6000 acre beet season, with many fields already set for harvest and strong profits. The move hinges on local farmer interest amid past factory closures and broader regional plant saturation. Tourism declines due to June cold, Willard flood, Farmington flood, and a Kemmerer mine explosion affecting travel.

Mrs C O Moore to Build Summer Home by Shirley Lake

Mrs C O Moore of this city has awarded a contract to C C Shir ley of Fish Haven for a summer home on Shirley lake shore property, south of the J N Downing place. The four room house will have a cobblestone fireplace and is to be finished this fall. Architect K Z Brown furnished the plans. The Shirley site is described as one of the lake shore’s most beautiful locations. Dr and Mrs Moore plan to spend the majority of summers at the lake once completed.

The First Ward held a Sunday reorganization with Relief Society leader Mrs. Caroline Woolley released and Mrs. Ida Dunn named president. Annie Clayton and Nora Dalrymple serve as counselors.
