Burglars Hit Hacienda Club in Montpelier Again
Repeating their act from three months earlier, burglars ransacked the Hacienda Club late Sunday night in Montpelier, stealing a few dollars from the cash register and juke box fund. Police and Sheriff Monson with Deputy Ramey are investigating and awaiting fingerprint results.

Rites Held for Deer Lodge Fire Victim Paul Thomas
Funeral services were conducted in Bloomington for Paul K. Thomas a 16 year old Deer Lodge Montana native who perished in a blaze of undetermined origin. Burial followed in Bloomington cemetery with pallbearers former schoolmates. He was born May 8 1941 and survived by his parents two sisters a brother and his grandparents.

Ovid Man Killed in Farm Accident
Funeral services for Alvin Back 48 of Ovid were held in the Ovid ward chapel with Bishop Russell Sorenson presiding. Burial was in Paris cemetery. Back died Friday at his home when a car being repaired slipped a bumper jack striking him on the head. Born September 29 1909 in Bear Lake county he is survived by his widow Eldris three sons Carl Marvin and Clair two daughters Zenna and Mardene his mother Marie Beck of Ovid and six sisters and five brothers all Bear Lake County residents.
