Wool Incentive Checks Mailed for Bear Lake Producers
Checks totaling 53265.68 were mailed Monday to 145 wool and lamb producers in Bear Lake County. The payments reflect the 1967 Wool Incentive price support and include 66 cent per pound wool incentives and 1.05 per hundredweight for unshorn lambs. Net proceeds and combined payments totaled 112817.57 for 1967 with 14,796 sheep shorn and 157,059 pounds of wool marketed.
