Bond brothers claim Oswego track titles in same season
Oswego Speedway ends its 65th anniversary season with Bob Bond and Mike Bond becoming the first brothers to win track championships in the same year. Bob clinched the Novelis Supermodified title by 3.5 points after finishing second in the 75 lap main, while Mike won the Pathfinder Bank SBS crown by 5.5 points, aided by Dalton Doyle’s SBS victory. Denise Merrill becomes the first car owner to win both titles in the same season.

Shirley Baker achieves hole-in-one at Griffins' Greens
Oswego golfer Shirley Baker recorded a hole-in-one on Friday at Griffins' Greens on the 132 yard fourth hole using a No 5 hybrid. She credited a beat-up ball found on the course and noted it was her first time using the club this season. Witnesses were Kelly Wells and Rick Hudson.

Hannibal Mod Boys Take Second At Jordan Elbridge Kamikaze
Hannibal High School modified boys cross country finished second at the Jordan Elbridge Kamikaze Challenge. Noah Kuc led Hannibal with third place in 7:13, followed by Dillon Plantz sixth in 7:36 and Jacob Powell 11th in 7:59 among all runners. Other top 40 finishers included Dominik Burghardt, Calexander Connolly, C.J. Watts, Xavier Lastra, and Zach Ingersoll, with a larger group finishing further back.
