Sandy Creek Students Tour Syracuse COE Green Building
Sandy Creek science students visited Syracuse University Center of Excellence to study green tech. The tour highlighted a turf roof passive solar design, geothermal heating and cooling, automatic window blinds, energy efficient lighting, and an outdoor air exchange system, yielding an energy footprint about one third that of a typical office building.
