Oswego to honor three faculty for Academic Advisement
SUNY Oswego will recognize Lisa Brancato Mary Rodgers and Karen Wolford with the President's Award for Excellence in Academic Advisement at the Teaching and Learning Awards. Brancato coordinates 18 advisers guiding over 500 majors and minors in biological sciences. Rodgers advises 65 students and mentors the Investment Club while applying a growth map approach to course choices and workplace skills. Wolford, who mentors 23 undergraduates 12 graduates and a trauma studies graduate, lists all advisees personally and collaborates on research including a stress reduction app for first responders.
