Holocaust survivor urges hope in Fulton students

Marion Blumenthal Lazan spoke at Fulton City Schools sharing her Nazi era survival tale and belief in optimism. She described growing anti Jewish restrictions from the Nuremberg Laws, Kristallnacht, detention in camps, and eventual liberation, urging love and tolerance to prevent hatred.

Leadership Oswego County backs Sandy Creek students backpacks

The Leadership Oswego County class of 2016 raised over 1500 for a Sandy Creek Central School District backpack program. In partnership with Sandy Creek United Methodist Church, funds and hygiene items were donated to feed 73 children and support 30 additional families. LOC seeks corporate partners for 2016-17.
