OCO launches March for Meals campaign in Oswego County
Oswego County Opportunities Nutrition Services promotes March for Meals with events in March to raise awareness of senior hunger and fund meal programs. A March 16 all day fundraiser at Canale’s Restaurant and Liverpool location offers 20 percent donation with coupons. Community Champions Week March 16-20 invites officials, business leaders, and residents to deliver meals or serve at centers. Donations via van-shaped boxes support Meals on Wheels and dining centers, with quotes from staff stressing the program’s role in keeping seniors independent and connected.
