New Vision students seek solutions to Oswego tobacco use
New Vision Allied Health students from multiple districts conducted surveys in Oswego County to assess tobacco use among middle and elementary students. They found awareness gaps about health risks and a high cancer mortality rate, then prepared group projects for community panel review to implement the best ideas.

Skywarn training seminar to be held in Fulton
National Weather Service Buffalo office will host a Skywarn spotter training seminar at the Oswego County Emergency Management Office in Fulton at 7 p.m. on March 18. The free two hour session, open to the public, covers severe weather safety and meteorology as well as how spotters report to the NWS via phone or amateur radio.
