Granby Elementary School hosted Curriculum Day with Bocyck siblings guiding a STEM showcase. Students and parents explored a wide range of topics from history to nature through presentations and hands on activities. New York Caps Initial Opioid Prescriptions at Seven Days

Hampton Inn project delayed by environmental review in Oswego
The state DEC will finalize a cleanup plan for the former Breneman Shade Cloth site but a planned Hampton Inn at East First and East Utica streets waits at least another year for additional environmental testing. The plan, set as a Brownfield site, includes soil injections to break down petroleum contaminants and an environmental easement. Canalview Development LLC faces Health Department review and must complete site management and vapor risk evaluations before construction can begin.
