Oswego Police Drug Sweep Ties Sterling Stage Fest to 14 Arrests
Oswego law enforcement announced the conclusion of a months long probe into alleged drug sales at the Sterling Stage FolkFest during Memorial Day weekend. State police, county and federal agencies seized LSD, cocaine, MDMA, ketamine, hallucinogens, hash, marijuana and prescription drugs with an estimated street value of $20 000. Four dozen direct narcotics purchases were recorded, and 14 people were arrested inside the festival with more charged after exit. Major David Krause and District Attorney Gregory Oakes urged strict enforcement against drug sales.

Scriba man rejects plea deal in Oswego County drug case
Scriba resident Emmanuel Frederick, 56, rejected a plea offer in Oswego County Court on June 2014 charges alleging possession and sale of crack cocaine.
