Fulton residents from Believers' Chapel built a wooden wheelchair ramp at Bullhead Point Pier using materials donated by county legislator Jim Karasek. ARISE coordinated planning while volunteers installed the ramp on May 20, replacing an unsafe asphalt approach and improving access for people with mobility issues.

CiTi Auto Tech team wins second in Ford AAA Competition
Auto Technology students from the Center for Instruction Technology and Innovation placed second at the Ford AAA Competition held in May at Morrisville. The CiTi team, including Giuseppe Nozzolillo and Kevin Cronk, earned $6,000 scholarships each plus tools and trophies after diagnosing and repairing a bugged 2015 Ford Fiesta within a 90 minute window. Both students plan to attend the University of Northwestern Ohio this fall.

Ex-NY Senate leader and son plead not guilty in graft case
Former New York Senate leader Dean Skelos and his son Adam pleaded not guilty to a six-count corruption indictment. Prosecutors described 2,400 wiretap recordings and hundreds of thousands of documents as evidence, including emails and bank records.
