Central New York home market shows slow December slump
December closed sales in GSAR region fell to 669 from 684 a year earlier, while year to date totals rose 11.1 percent to 8,462. New listings declined 12.9 percent to 545 in December, with year to date listings down 6 percent. Pending sales rose 6.6 percent to 484 in December, and median price eased to 124,500. Oswego County showed 113 total sales late November to late December with 1,009 year to date through December 27 2016.
