Study finds weak link between college debt and boomerang effect
Dartmouth and Montana State researchers challenge the view that high student debt drives young graduates home. Analyzing 5025 college attendees born 1980–84, the study finds those who finish degrees are less likely to boomerang, while those who don’t finish show about a 40% higher risk of returning to parents.
