Make Sense Shop Thrives Amid Holiday Demand in Pulaski
The Make Sense Shop, a district run café and gift shop, flourished over the holidays. Operated with Camden Central, Sandy Creek Central and Altmar-Parish-Williamstown, it offers life-skills training for special education students who handle cooking, stock, cleaning and cash register duties while earning community service hours. Teacher Miranda Cerone notes students gained 40 ages of experience as the season peaked with a Thanksgiving meal serving 80 staff and preparing 60 pounds of turkey, plus December events and a Light Up Pulaski appearance.
