Shoe drive nets 381 pairs in Oswego County
The second annual Tithe My Shoes drive collected 381 pairs and boots. Millard Murphy led the effort as former Central Square mayor and executive director of the Oswego County Conferences of Mayors, with about 100 pairs gathered by Assemblyman Will Barclay's office. Local drop offs included Fulton Savings Bank, Mallory Wesleyan Church, Caughdeney United Methodist Church, and Victory Bible Church. Shoes will be repaired by Discount Shoe Repair and donated to the Rescue Mission in Oswego.
