Veterans recall Pearl Harbor attack 75th anniversary
Oswego veterans remember December 7 1941 as the day that drew the United States into World War II. The Pearl Harbor assault began just before 8 am Hawaii time 1 pm Oswego time and lasted about two hours. More than 350 Japanese aircraft attacked the Pacific Fleet at Pearl Harbor killing and wounding thousands. The event galvanized national resolve and reshaped U.S. policy and strategy.

Oswego County Budget Moves to Legislature for Final OK
