Nine Mile Point hosts community information night

Exelon Generation's Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station runs an open house from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Training Center. Staff will explain operations safety radiological safeguards and environmental stewardship while offering tours of a main control room simulator. The event features interactive displays for children and on site treats. The plant, seven miles northeast of Oswego, can generate about 1937 megawatts of carbon free electricity serving around two million homes.
