Hunter Arms Homecoming draws history and firearms fans to Fulton
Enthusiasts nationwide will gather for the sixth Hunter Arms Homecoming in Fulton hosted by Friends of Fulton History. The event features L C Smith shotguns and Hunter Arms memorabilia with a Friday display setup, a reception, and Friday tours, culminating in a Saturday shooting competition at Pathfinder Fish and Game Club followed by an awards banquet. Organizers note the guns’ craftsmanship, with some items valued up to $200,000, and historians trace the factory’s rise and fluctuations until the late 1940s.
