Oswego hit by flood damage and infrastructure losses
Oswego faces widespread flood damage from record April and May rainfall. High lake levels and erosion damaged the West Side Coal Pier, Wright's Landing Marina, shoreline, a municipal storm sewer and pump station along Shore Road. FEMA allies note a 400000 dollar county and 27 million statewide threshold for a federal declaration. Local officials seek grants and federal aid to fund repairs and recovery.
