Rodriguez and Edwards-El plead not guilty in Oswego cocaine case
Two defendants Rollins Rodriguez and Shandrica Edwards-El pleaded not guilty to two counts each of third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance after police found about 2 ounces of cocaine under a mattress during a May raid at Edwards-El home in Parish. A third defendant William Battles faces misdemeanors. Rodriguez bail set at 15000 dollars, Edwards-El free on 10000 dollars bond. Motion hearings are set for October 17 and 24 respectively.

Barclays to pay 100 million to settle LIBOR probe
Barclays Bank agrees to pay 100 million to 43 states and the District of Columbia to resolve allegations it manipulated key interest rates during 2005 to 2009. New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman called for universal rules as investigations into other banks continue. Barclays cooperated and said the settlement resolves legacy LIBOR and Euro LIBOR activities.
