The Medical School of the University of Mississippi begins its 20th year with nearly 400 graduates in nineteen years. Two year premed work can be transferred to most leading schools for a third year without exam. The school is class A per the American Medical Association. The pharmacy and chemistry building will house the Pharmacy School and labs.

Openning of Ole Miss marks record 74th session enrollment
The University of Mississippi opened its 74th session with a record enrollment as chancellor M N Powers predicted the largest attendance in history. Students from Tulane, Mississippi College, Alabama and other Southern states arrived, dormitories filled, and coed enrollments growing. The Mississippian weekly and eight page edition plans were announced, with classes to begin in earnest Monday.

Infant suffers skull injury after mule kick
The 10 month old son of Mr. and Mrs. Winfred Smith had part of his skull removed after a mule kick. Doctors at Oxford Hospital treated a four inch square crushed area pressing the brain and the boy regained movement after the bone was removed. The infant is grandson of T. C. Cain.

Sykes Kennon, son of Dr. W. B. Kennon of the University, was bitten on University street yesterday. He received first aid and returned home. doctors said the injury was not serious and no rabies precautions were needed.
