River Run at Forest Park spotlights classic car passion
The Ol' Marais River Run showcases restorations from 1936 Chevys to a 1963 Ford Falcon and a 1961 Chevy Impala. Hankins rebuilt parts with lawnmower cables, while Ron Loftus and Bill Moss describe long restoration timelines and show connections across Overland Park and Merriam. The event draws about 2,000 cars and runs through Sunday with a Back to the 60s Cruise Night in Ottawa.
