Adventures in Faith OU Students Aid Indian Hospital Staff
Ottawa University senior Janelle Bailey joined three other OU students and professor Russ McCullough on a three week All India Mission Christian ministries trip to eastern India. They spent two weeks at Shanti Bhavan Medical Center near Simdega assisting hospital staff and patients while engaging with a local orphanage and school. The five story hospital serves millions across 6,000 surrounding villages. Bailey said a farmer’s smile amid her visit broke language barriers, warming her heart despite limited Hindi.
