City offers amnesty for municipal court warrants
Ottawa Municipal Court will grant amnesty on November 1 for defendants with outstanding warrants who appear between 10am and 1pm or 2pm to 5pm and arrange payment. About 380 warrants exist, mostly from traffic or misdemeanor charges. Arrest warrants carry a $25 fee plus other fines. license suspensions may follow. Franklin County jail reports about 10 arrests monthly for these warrants.

Senate approves Can Spam bill to curb junk emails
