Darrold E. Lipe, 26, a military prisoner who slipped away from guards at Fort Leavenworth Monday, was captured last night after authorities received a tip on his getaway plans. He was arrested while attempting to hitchhike on U.S. Route 71 eight miles north of Platte City, Missouri.
