OU archery club aims to join Kansas collegiate programs
OU sophomore Casey Schappaugh helped found a new archery club at Ottawa University after months of planning. The group secured about 2000 dollars from Student Senate and nearly 5000 dollars in equipment from the US Collegiate Archery Association, and held practices at OU fields. The club, with guidance from Ottawa Police, seeks intercollegiate competition in Kansas next year, planning a bake sale to fund travel.
