Indian Woman Dies In Fire On Kickapoo Reservation
Marie Pewano 65 a Kickapoo Indian perished in a fire that destroyed her three room farm home on the Kickapoo reservation southwest of Powhattan Kansas authorities said. The blaze occurred early today and investigators were sought to determine a cause. Deputy sheriffs and county officials assisted at the scene.
