Finding for Defendant in Sign Co Suit in Osage County

A general finding for the defendant in the Beatrice Martin Peck versus Martha Martin Horst voting trust dispute was issued by Judge A K Stavely in Osage County District Court. Peck alleged duress and incompetence at signing and sought to set aside the trust. Horst owned one third of the stock, Peck two thirds. The court found the voting trust not unconscionable or unfair and Peck was deemed competent to transact business. The matter has seen two Kansas Supreme Court reviews on questions of law.
