Ellsworth High rally for cancer-stricken student
Ellsworth teachers and students organize support as a Hodgkin's disease diagnosis adds to prior illnesses among the junior class. The unnamed teen traveled to Denver for tests while classmates Rita Henry and Shane Novotny recover from leukemia and a hunting accident. The junior class totals 72 students and last year the band fundraised $15,000 for Rita by forgoing a trip to California.
