Elizabeth Mendell born March 20 1889 in Nebraska died after forty seven years in Ottawa and a California visit. She lived in Ottawa 1924 to 1966 with a daughter in California 1966 to 1986 before returning to Ottawa in 1986. She resided at Ottawa Retirement Village 1100 W 15th for six years. Her husband Archie's wife Wilma recalls her habit of constant cleaning.
