Ottawa University players Myah Sprew and Jacob Loucks earned KCAC weekly honors. Sprew, ECAC RBI and stolen base leader, hit six of 13 with a homer, triple, double, eight RBIs, and five in one game. Loucks pitched a complete game versus Peru State, yielding two runs on six hits, helping a Braves sweep the Cats.

Ottawa University signs Haley Thompson from Phillipsburg High
Phillipsburg High School senior Haley Thompson signed to play volleyball for Ottawa University. An outside hitter, defensive specialist and right side player, she earned four letters in volleyball and dance and one in track. A two time all league all state and all conference honoree, Thompson helped lead the Panthers to four 3A state tournaments finishing third in 2008 second in 2008 fourth in 2010 and third in 2011. She plans to major in communications and management of information systems.
