Sedgwick County receives the largest share at 1,563,181 dollars while Wallace County gets 19,946 dollars. Deaths Conrad Gastrock 67 Retired Farmer and CPA
Conrad Rudolph Gastrock 67, a retired farmer and CPA of Worden, died yesterday at 8:30 p.m. in Ransom Memorial Hospital after a period of illness. Born December 25, 1889 in Fort Branch, Indiana, he lived in Douglas County since 1911 and was a member of St. Johns Evangelical and Reformed Church, Worden. Survived by a widow Lottie Gibson Glaser, a son Elsmere Gastrock of Manhattan, a daughter Naomi Gastrock of Seattle, a daughter Mrs Dudley Gilliland of Baldwin, a stepson Melvin Glaser of Phoenix, and a stepdaughter Mrs Vera Bell Dahlman of Bagdad, with funeral at the Worden church at 2 p.m. Sunday, burial in the local cemetery, Rev Henry Rieder officiating.

Penal Board To Meet Monday Over Parole Aide Dismissal
TOPEKA The State Board of Penal Institutions may meet Monday to hear Rev. Carl A. B. Swanson of Page City who was dismissed after he refused a transfer. Dellard H. Sheffield's service station a mile north of Ottawa was burglarized during the night. Undersheriff Willard Lister reports entry via a torn rear window screen and smashed glass.
