The plan calls for a 12 foot wide, wheelchair accessible trail linking Richmond Welda and Garnett with trail heads including parking and restrooms. Abandoned depot at Garnett will host facilities. An overpass opening near Richmond will be shared for an 8 by 14 foot space with solar lighting. KDOT assists with underpass modifications and ground work under US 59. Leads in death in Franklin County homicide probe
The Franklin County Sheriff's Department is pursuing more than 150 leads in the homicide of James Heth, with 20 investigators aided by Ottawa Police and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation. Heth was found with a gunshot wound along the Marais des Cygnes River after last being seen on Palm Sunday, April 9. Call 242-3800 or 1-800-KS-CRIME with information, anonymously if desired.

19 days indictment limit for Nichols OKLAHOMA CITY AP
