Storm repairs allow Ottawa plant to resume work after 18 hour outage

Repairs after a severe storm returned power to the Signal Bendix King avionics plant in Ottawa's industrial park by Wednesday night. Holiday Inn Express work progresses amid weather setback

Ralph Taylor of Taylor Brothers Construction says masonry on the Holiday Inn Express at 23rd Street and US-59 should finish by Wednesday. Framing has begun and trusses are being installed despite rain delays. The firm also expands a Franklin County poultry barn at the fairgrounds to increase exhibit space.
