Miss Marcia Hall of Coffeyville Kansas sister of Carlton Hall spoke at the Ottawa Kiwanis Club gathering. She just finished her sophomore year at the University of Kansas and will return to Ottawa on Dairy Day June 8 for the luncheon naming the 1957 Franklin County Dairy Princess. The outing was joined by Mr and Mrs Bill Winfrey of Topeka and other guests including Peg Carr Jess Gilmore and new member Howard Mann. Rotarians held a wives dinner last night with R R Redmond introducing six new Rotarians and their spouses. Mrs Erdmann Smith Recovering After Major Surgeries
Ottawa friends report the severe illness of Mrs. Erdmann Smith of Denver Cole. She is now recovering after two major operations on April 7 and May 16 and expects to return home next Sunday after more than nine weeks in St. Josephs hospital, Denver. She is the wife of Dr. Erdmann Smith. the family lived in Ottawa from 1924 to 1931 when he was president of Ottawa University.

Two Teens Arraigned in Pennsylvania Car Theft

Music Tests Given To 35 Students In Ottawa Program
