Liar and thief former KNWS exec jailed over rigged contest
Tim Trostle, 41, former KNWS promotions manager, received 60 days in jail and a $10,000 fine after being convicted of organized criminal activity for rigging a Channel 51 contest that let his mother in law win a $27,000 pickup during a Rice Navy game in 1998. He was ordered to wear a sign declaring he is “a liar, a coward and a thief.”
