Balloon Test At Atomic Site Delayed For Tomorrow
The United States schedules a balloon borne nuclear device test at the Atomic Energy Commission site near Yucca Flat. A 67 foot diameter plastic balloon will be 500 feet high with four steel cables and safety devices. Third Suit In Fatal Wreck Filed in Russell County
Bazil D. Laird of Russell County files a $317.50 claim for car damages after a June 3 1955 wreck in which Dwayne Zordel, driving Laird’s car, killed Zordel’s wife. Zordel had already filed two suits against Don ald Hanes for $15,711.64 for death and $8,413.24 for personal injuries, bringing total to $24,442.38. All suits allege negligence by Hanes in the accident.
