A graveside memorial for Scott Kelsey of Culver City Calif will be held at Highland Cemetery Saturday. Relatives gather at Lamb Funeral Home at 2 pm to proceed to the burial. Kelsey a retired hotel clerk died in Venice Calif December 7 1954 after a long illness born Berea Kansas April 21 1871 and was a member of the Christian church.
Funeral services for Charley C. Clemens who died May 28 were held at Towner's Funeral Chapel on June 1 at 2 0 p m. Rev Harold B Hotchkiss officiated. Pallbearers were James Woodworth Oscar Marconett Hadley McKay Charles Faden Gene and Earl Nelson. Interment in Princeton cemetery with organ selections by Mrs Lawrence Ott.

The attorney quoted the twins describing their treatment as an outrage and noted the attendants follow orders from Washington.
Lawrence Kansas special report states the new dial telephone system will begin operation August 7. Southwestern Bell has completed assigning new numbers for local customers. The dial prefix Viking 3 will be used, with all numbers starting VI 3 and followed by four figures.

In Mineola New York two funeral chapel workers are charged with grand larceny for stealing 3780 dollars in winning horse race tickets from a dead man at Belmont Park. Samuel Brandt died of a heart attack after the race. Detectives say Hanley and Roff found the tickets in Brandt’s secret pocket while preparing him for burial.
Aitchison vendors slashed milk to 15 cents a quart and 29 cents a half gallon to meet competition from Adams Milk Co of Kansas City. Local suppliers reduced prices yesterday in a bid to enter the market. Investments cited: U S Savings Bonds.

Two Wyandotte County jail prisoners began an unusual diet in the bullpen cell yesterday. At a hospital last night physicians treated their condition and continued monitoring. The incident prompted staff to review dietary procedures and inmate supervision.
Prisoners identified as Lester Ray Thomas, 17, and Gordon Keith Anderson, 30, were charged with arson. The report notes authorities found improvised items such as needles, bed springs and zipper tabs from jail clothing on the scene.
