Flash flood kills 19 in Alps at Interlaken canyoning site
Authorities search for two missing after a flash flood struck a party of 45 tourists and eight guides in Saxeten brook near Interlaken Switzerland. A sudden storm sent a wall of water with uprooted trees sweeping the group, leaving 19 dead and six injured. Victims hail from Britain South Africa Australia New Zealand and Switzerland. Police say no Americans are among the dead despite earlier reports.
