Clemens Streak Ends as Blue Jays Top Red Sox 4-2

Toronto pitcher Roger Clemens saw his 14 game start to a season win streak end in a 4-2 loss to Toronto. George Bell hit a fourth inning homer off Clemens, who allowed three hits and walked three over seven frames before the eighth inning collapse. Tom Henke earned the save as Jimmy Key, despite an arm twinge in the eighth, took the loss. The victory ends Toronto's winless streak in Boston at nine and keeps Boston eight games ahead in the AL East as Dennis Boyd prepared to face John Cerutti in the series finale.
