Ex University of Kansas Athletics Director Lew Perkins agreed to pay a 4000 fine to settle an ethics case over allegedly accepting exercise equipment as a gift. He said no intent to violate laws. the ethics commission agreed not to pursue further action. Perkins stepped down last year amid related allegations and poor ticket operation oversight.
