Officials mull Bosnia risks
Washington dispatch notes grave risks in evacuating 24,000 U.N. peacekeepers from Bosnia. Pentagon officials warn the operation would resemble guerrilla-style warfare spanning weeks, not a swift 100-hour war, due to rugged terrain and potential resistance. UN Security Council has not decided, and the Clinton administration hopes to avoid withdrawal.
