Public hearings eyed for Hillsdale State Park master plan

Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks will hold three public hearings to gather opinions on the Hillsdale State Park preliminary master plan update. Kansas approves new U S 400 designation across southeast Kansas

Topeka announces the federal highway renumbering designating a southeast Kansas corridor from I 44 in Missouri to Wichita and a Wichita to Garden City stretch as U S 400. 800 to 1,000 signs will be erected to mark the route and boost tourism and economic development.

Pastor Victor Gordon to Speak at Ottawa University Event

Victor Gordon senior pastor of the First Baptist Church in Wichita will speak at Ottawa University campus Christmas season opening at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Chapel Auditorium. Gordon attended Stanford University and Fuller Theological Seminary and has served churches colleges and seminaries as pastor chaplain and instructor. Public invited.
