The ECKAN Christmas Bureau requests sponsors from companies churches clubs families and individuals to aid 125 Franklin County families or 390 people. Thirty-nine families are sponsored while 86 still need help. NCCC plan scaled back but approved
County officials complained tax dollars would fund the Ottawa project but the college clarified that student fees in Ottawa would cover the expansion. Fees rise from 28 to 32 per credit hour for the 1995 spring term, with post spring decisions by the college board.
