Baby Falls Into Hot Water Tub In Eudora
Two year old Janice Musick of Eudora sustained second degree burns over about two thirds of her torso and legs after tipping into a tub of hot water prepared for washing. She was admitted to Lawrence Memorial Hospital. her mother, Mrs. Merritt Musick, said the child tripped while avoiding the air.

Kansas Duck Season Dates Set By Game Commissioners
Kansas will have a 75 day non split migratory water fowl hunting season this fall, 15 days longer than last year. The season runs Oct 9 to Dec 22 with 12 extra days at the start for eastern Kansas and three at the end for western Kansas. Goose season runs Oct 9 for 60 days with bag limits five and a two Canadas or two white fronts. A 15 day jacksnipe session also starts Oct 9 with eight bag and possession limits.

TV Actors End 12 Day Strike Ends Protest
